It happens to be a special day for C and I. It’s a day I look forward to sharing every year!

I don’t know about you, but this year really helped me focus on the important things in life. Everyone always says the most important things in life are family, friends, our homes. But this year I think we all truly mean it. My circles have become smaller this year, and I am grateful for that honestly.

So many of you may have been displaced, plans put on hold, goal deadlines extended, but when you look next to you... who and what do you see?

Without those things/people, nothing else really matters anyways. As the noise gets louder, you can become better at handling it, and refocusing on the important things for YOU.
Amongst all the hurt, disappointment, sickness, and exhaustion, I bet you still have some things that make you feel super grateful.

By choosing to shine light on those things/people, as this year comes to a close, I know we can all be a better community, together. ❤️

Good thing I’m all warm and fuzzy inside, thanks to my new @wearfigs Selwyn Sherpa jacket!

Honestly, it doesn’t matter if the weather outside is frightful or sweltering, it’s always freezing cold in the Emergency Department 👩🏻‍⚕️ or maybe it’s just me?

One of the ED techs brought me a space heater the other day and I told him that was right up there with a foot rub in my mind. Legit changes my entire day for the better😂
Needless to say, I’ll be wearing this jacket on repeat.
