  Marry a Doctor, they say. It’ll be great, they say. “No thanks”, I said! As terrible as that sounds, it was actually quite the case. Having been in public safety and EMS for almost 20 years, I had my thoughts about intermingling that home and work life. Besides, those doctors, their schedules are quite possibly as bad as a firefighter’s.  Who would sign up for that willingly? 5 Essentials for my Nightstand

  It’s no secret that my sleep schedule is ALL over the place. Is it morning? Is it night? I typically have no clue. My blackout blinds and bedroom set up won’t allow me to know the answer to that question. And I like it that way. Life on the go is never easy. You have to find the right routine that’ll keep you on time, find the right foods and drinks to keep you going, and the right attitude, of course. I’m not really sure why I am always rushing off somewhere or another. I guess if you combine both Chris and I’s schedules, it makes perfect sense. But I still find myself scratching my head sometimes thinking, “is there an easier way?”.
